Jessica runs a thriving Elder Law and Estate Planning firm in rural Northeast Missouri. While in law school, Jessica helped shape the Missouri Guardianship Reform Law.  Driven by her commitment to forge her own path, Jessica chose to open a solo small firm after law school focusing on the specialty areas of Elder Law and Estate Planning with the aim of serving the needs of rural Missouri.  Since opening her practice in 2012, Jessica has served as the first circuit Juvenile attorney, has been profiled in Missouri Lawyer’s Media, and was named an Up and Coming Young Attorney by the Missouri Bar Weekly in 2018, and has conducted numerous community seminars and information sessions on Estate and Long-Term Care Planning. Beyond her legal work, she is actively involved with local charities, received the Top 5 under 40 Award by the Kirksville Young Professionals, and has served on the board of her local chapters of the Chamber of Commerce, HUD, YMCA, and MoNaela.
